Hi.
With a little bit of work, you can now have the up to the 50 latest threads show up in a forum on your website. As long as you are running phpBB2 (http://www.phpbb.com) and can follow some semi-technical 2:35am instructions, you can make this happen! Download the attached zip file, and read INSTALL.txt It explains what you have to do to have the latest chiefdelphi links show up in your forums.
If you need any help, either reply here, PM me, msg me on AIM, or email me.
Thanks,
Brandon
PS: thanks to David Kelly for the idea..
PPS: Thanks to 'Jack' from feds201.com who provided these instructions (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15686) if you do not have cron access.

Awesome Brandon!! We're just trying to get more students to check ChiefDelphi and see what is going on. This is a good way to do it so that they can just view it on our forums as well. There's just a few more customizations that I want to do so that it looks all nice and spiffy :D

Nope. If I have time, I will try to make one. Feel free to download the zip and make a YaBB version :)

a few more fixes to the phpBB2 template, and the viewchief.php file as well.
re-upload the two files, follow instructions to edit the file paths again. You won't need to make the cronjob again, though, if you already have it set up.

updates. fixes to timezone issues.
viewchief.php was the only file updated, i believe. Don't forget to change the path to the XML file.

If you have any better way to do what I did ... go right ahead. Or if you have any improvements, additions, etc.
I only know vBulletin, and just installed phpBB2 quickly & wrote that little hack, because I knew alot of teams use phpBB and could benefit from the addition.
