Okay. I was wondering if anyone has a recent (within the past year) list of teams name, number, and school (and any other kind of static information...). I'd like it to be something plain and line-seperated...kinda like this:

1 so-and-so HS, FIRST robotics team
2 anytown HS, the roboticals

...I'm trying to find basic information to put into my database. This is just to try and ease my workload and first doesn't have their list up yet. Thanks.

If you want, you can email the list to evulish[@]epix.net (minus the []'s of course)

No, but we can post all of ours here:

Team 384, John Randolph High School, Team 384

why not go to the first website, and look at the regional team lists, picking out the duplicates? then we wouldn't have to take up space here posting our team names...

Well...the thing is, if I just had a nice text file...I could just parse it with a program and enter it into the database...if nobody has one, I have to do it manually by digging through first's site. I just thought it was worth it to at least ask :)

There is an attachment in the scouting forum.

You can open that in Excel & do what you please.

Oh, and since you're a linux user -- you can do some crazy sed/awk shell scripting on it :)

I get to use my mad scripting skillz on an...Excel spreadsheet...eww :)

Err...ehh. I like this .csv format...here I thought it would be in the Microsoft standard gobble-dee-gook :) (Editing .doc files in vi isn't cool)
