View Full Version : Robot Controller
In the manual, it says that anything you get in the kit of parts can be put on your robot. Since the parts of the robot control panel come with the kit of parts, and it is unreasonable to expect a robot with two joysticks mounted on it, can it be assumed that the device you use to control your robot counts as part of the robot itself?
If it does, how far does that extend? The cost limit? the weight limit?
Just because you are to blind to see the advantages of a well placed joystick in a robot it does not mean that the controller counts as part of the weight limit. what will you people think of next. Oh and dont bother asking how to effectively use joysticks in your robot design that my friend is a team secret.

Anyone want to take a shot at it? I'm blank.
Actually, I think that was a joke.

oh no, he was dead serious.... think about it, a joystick mounted on the robot as a limit switch, if it gets pushed one way, it does x, if it gets pushed the other way, it does y, and if it's buttons get pressed, the robot transforms into a washingmachine so the team can save money in texas
