Alright, like a infant at christmas I seem to be more interested in the box.
The rules say we can use anything in the kit of parts, my question is: Is the actualy containers that the kit of parts came in included in the kit of parts? The bottoms of the red and green containers have friction properties that interest me :D

LoL, I can't think of a particular rule that says otherwise, but I'm assuming that that's a no-no. The boxes themselves are not on the list of parts in the kit though, I don't believe.
~Tom Fairchild, who is curious though.

In the past, it's always been no so I wouldn't count on it.

No.
I can't remember what rule, but you can't use the containers the KoP came in.
I am sure that it says you cant in the rule book, you cant use the rod container either.
Nor can you use the 3dsmax cds or books...
There goes the shreded paper bumper....

I was quite amused when someone asked if they could use the Small Parts catalog on the robot. I was even more amused when FIRST said yes.

I'm not sure, but I believe someone already did that. If I find a picture, I'll share it so that we all can laugh...err...peruse it.
