i know this has absolutely NOTHING to do with what you asked... but I saw your name, and I was wondering if you're the same "Ghetto Child" that draws on the Kapolo oekaki...*o*
if none of that made any sense.. then..whatever... just ignore me.. hehe.. and I wish I COULD answer your question...O_O sorry

-_- you're not the same ghetto child? aww.. that would have been cool.. lol..
hahaa.. NooOooo.. Oekaki isn't edible... haaha.. ^_~ although.. you could TRY to eat it.. I doubt it'd be tasty tho.. O_O;; it's jus a bunch of computer codes.. Mmmmm.. O_O;; hehe.. actually Oekaki is this program thingy (I think it's java) that you can use on the internet to draw stuff... it's also a messageboard... so basically, you draw something, then write something about it, then others comment on your drawing as well.. it's fun.. ^.^; I usually draw stuff on it like my avatar.. ^.^
anywayz... I guess I'll shut up now.. since I'm not helpful.. ahhahaa.. ^_^;;
Nice to meet you anywayz Ghetto_Child.. ^.^

Polar arrays array themselves around the object's pivot point, so you have to position the pivot of your object where you want your center to be (or be smart and put it in a dummy group and change the dummy group's pivot so you can ungroup and get your origional pivot position back without manually fixing it.) The array dialogue has local and total X,Y,and Z rotation/transformation/scales. If you do an indivitual one, each clone as defined in the number of incriments box moves that far from the previous until your quota is reached, where if you set a total the array is spread evenly around. 1d is transformation on the local plane, 2d will move it in 2 planes, and 3d will move it in all three planes according to the incrimental offset. That help?
