the axles are listed as produced by g and g, but I cant find thier site, and I don't know where to purchase more, or price, so please inform me of how to do this.

You can get the 5/8 shaft from MSC.

Shafting- Linear, keyed
Part number 36671014 (from the 2001/2002 catalog)

Make sure you verify the partnumbers and such...
