Well, since the Golden Globes can have their awards, why can't we have our own?


The 1st Annual Cheifdelphi Awards!

They'll be 7 topics to nominate people/teams to and each one will be done on one day over the next week.

Monday's Award:

Best CD Poster In a Comedy- or basically, the funniest CD poster.

I think my dad did hand out awards last year. I don't remember what they were exactly, but there were a few certificates handed out, if I remember correctly.

LOL! But, honestly, i don't see how we can all vote for just 1 person. I think we all come togther just like a jig-saw puzzle here. We are all different, but when put togther, we are just a piece of the puzzle...

hmm... I swear there was at least 5 awards last year, but I just can't remember what they were. Maybe it was most viewed thread, or most replied thread... I am sure Mr. Martus know what they were...

Sort of cool when he said:

Mr. Martus: "one of the top thread starters... Ken."
Me: "which Ken?"
Mr. Matrus: "The only one of course"

Or something like that... :o


I am sure you guys can think of more awards than just the funniest :P.

I forgot what the awards were as well, but I know my little shaggy doll that I had duct taped to me in place of a name tag looked like a voodoo doll by the time I loaded up all the pins onto him!! lol

This thread was not intended to be funny, but one day I was browsing some of the archives and I came across it. Basically, this thread contains a sneak-peak of Team 60's (exceptional) 2002 robot. It seems like the entire Chief Delphi community chimed in with their speculations and comments about this mysterious bot that appeared to be able to pick up two goals completely off the ground, and spin them around on a turret.

The humor comes from HOW INCREDIBLY WRONG we all were.
My favorite part is when someone says "Their biggest weakness will be their speed off the line." Haha, last time I checked, they were the fastest to the goals, every time...

Everyone should give this thread a brief glance... It's interesting...

I appreciate it, Bill. Unless, of course, you mean what I originally thought you meant, but then remembered that anything meant to be offensive should be deleted. :-)

I vote for purpledaisy for everything, just by virtue of the fact that she's my g/f. :D
