i cant remeber right off hand but isn't there a sheet of instructions or a diagram with it?
Tere is no sheet of instructions in our kit. I had one from last year but I lost it :(
They are on the little baggy with the plastic o-ring/led seal in it
I checked that too. I can't find anything

Hey everyone,
We are having some issues with our Festo too, and I didn't feel like starting a whole new thread for it.
We assembled it to specifications, but every time we run it, and switch it, it doesn't change the air flow. We've tried it with both manual turned on and off, we've checked our wiring, and heck, we even put an extra bolt onto the electromagnetic controller to see if it would pull it in, and it did.
Anyway, we aren't too sure what's wrong w/ the thing, and we need to have it running pretty soon. Right now were stepping in one of our SMC's as a makeshift single until we can fix it.

sorry about the confusion i guesse there isn't an instruction sheet...someone had printed out that PDF and stuck it in with ours so i thought it just came with it.

The first thread in the Pneumatics section has a link to the assembly info for the Festo valve assembly.
If techincal questions arise, the number is:
1-800-99-FESTO (1-800-993-3786)
Hope this helps...

We haven't had any issues assembling the vavle, it's not operating correctly.

If it's not working and you're using 60 psi on it, contact the manufacturer or First.
Be aware that these valves use an electrically operated pilot valve, which switches the air coming into the middle port, to operate the main valve. It will not operate the main valve on lung pressure. (Years ago, our first year, our valves "wouldn't work".)
They must be connected to compressor-stored air to work

We're having trouble with our FESTO valve too. We assembled it as per the instructions provided by Festo and connected it to the 60 psi regulated output from air tanks and compressor. The valve would not change state when we applied a voltage. It would change states when we manually turned the screw on the bottom. We substituted and SMC double acting solenoid valve which worked correctly; however, we need to use all three valves. If any of you have any insight, we'd really appreciate it.

We got ours working now...
Not 100% sure how we got it going, but I think it might've been that we were using our own lungs for one test time...I think...
Anyway, It works now. Just don't ask me how.

If you have concerns with any product in the kit, call the manufacturer (in this case 1-800-99-FESTO)
Provided a clear understanding of what you trying to do, and how things are hooked up, they should be able to help.
