Conversation Starters

[LBK Rules]

I know some of you will refer me to the pick-up lines thread.

The difference between pick-up lines and conversation starters is that conversation starters are not created to be used to pick up a date, although they can be altered in some way to make them more efficient for that purpose.

Here are a couple conversation starters that I have used:

"Hey Jessie, can you help me screw this in?"

"You died your hair, Ian?"

Do any of you have some good ones? Or bad ones for that matter. :]

(I used to have two pairs...since you can't just buy one shoe...but they got really stinky and nasty so my parents threw them out [without my consent...grr...]) I also have l33t flamey ones.

I just ask them how old they think I am. Most say 22-23, than I tell them that I'm 17...Heh...gotta see the face they make when I tell them that..:D

when I'm by myself I won't really approach anyone to talk but when I'm with my teammates then I'll just approach anyone and say something stupid, that usually gets a convo started.
For example, just walk around and randomly ask people if they have seen your state fair corn dog, and usually someone will start to talk to you.

i am seriously a really really shy guy. you wouldnt think it with the way i act sometimes, but i really am. so i could use all the help in the WORLD!:(

or do what i did to kyle (and most of the rest of 365), become their alliance partner, and scream really loudly right in the middle of a group of them... or very obviously be secretive about stealing a cool colored wire tie...

those green ties went faster than the stuff we were giving out for some reason. they do make execlent hair ties and are very stylish.

no girls ussually talk to me, i usually get strange guys who try and start a topic of conversation...weird...

I am a open fella who lays things on the line, if i think u are a hot chick then i will be like "You are hot!" and so forth, but i never would judge anybody appearances in a negative manner, cause myself am not that great..
