I'm trying to find some 15 pin male solder D-Sub connectors for the competition port. I looked at radio shack online and I only found the 15 pin connectors with 3 rows (here (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F005%5F003%5F005%5F000&product%5Fid=276%2D1501)).

I found the part number of the kind I want from AMP (747872-4) and I was going to order them through Avnet (http://www.avnet.com) where they are $2.53 each, but it requires $11.50 S/H which is almost 1/2 of what the total cost of the 10 connectors I want to buy is.

So, anyone have any suggestions for other places to purchase them (from a store) or online with cheap S/H?

I guess I asked the question too soon. I found some at Newark for $2.38 each and they even have a store about 10 minutes from our lab.

RatShack has the 25 pin Male D-Sub connectors (Crimp D-Sub (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F005%5F003%5F005%5F000&product%5Fid=276%2D1429) or Solder D-Sub (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F005%5F003%5F005%5F000&product%5Fid=276%2D1547)). The Crimp one's aren't in stock.

Newark (http://www.newark.com) has tons of stuff. They only charge $5 (I think) for shipping.

Digikey (http://www.digikey.com) has them, look under C for "Connectors". Then look under "D-SUB" and find the DB25 Male connectors.

Wow, you're paying WAY too much! I buy all my stuff like that from Marlin P Jones Associates. DB connectors run $0.50 or less. www.mpja.com

DB connectors, particularly 15 pin, are stock computer accessories and are available everywhere. Almost any store who caters to computer, elcetronics or even home builders would have them. I think I even saw some at a Home Depot once.
