hi,

i was wondering about the ruling about the rotating light...we going for the pancake robot that can fit under the bar, so were a bit pressed for space and want to mount the light inside the robot. now it has to be visible from 360 degrees around. were going to use lexan (transparent) for the sides - but there will be a few obstructions - ie aluminum extrusion (1 inch thick) in four places, possible other items. would this be legal? please let me know about details of the ruling,

thanx a lot,

Hm. A simple 0.47 second search returned quite a few threads when I searched for 'mounting robot light'. I remember this exact topic being discussed within the past 3 days. Its probably listed near the top of one of the forums, even.

Here's two from the search:

Try that one.

Scroll down to my post (Jnadke). I did lots of research on this topic. I included some quotes from the FIRST Forums (FRC Engineers). Interpret them as you will.
