Does anyone know if you can't have a decoration the runs of of an alternate power source??? This will not affect the outcome of the match.

You can use decorations on an alternate power source. Back in 2001 we lined the "45" on our side panels with Glo Wire (http://www.glowire.com) and ran that off a 9 volt battery pack.

I belive that you can only have one battery on the robot, casue last year one of the teams we were helping out wanted to put little flashy light thing on the air spount covers for there Wheels, But FIRST said they could not casue there can only be on battery on the robot, I get back to you when I find the exact rule, But its there

You can use multiple batteries, but not to power the robot or control features. The second battery must be used for decoraations.

The glowwire isn't bright enough to show up while actually on the field during a match, but it looks really cool in the "dark area" while you are in line before your match. In addition to having it on our robot in '01, we had it on the wagon we used to transport the robot.
