Is that Worm Gear part of the shaft, weilded on, or just keyed in, Cause it looks like its part of the shaft it self...

It is on a shaft, not welded :D

looks are deceiving because they're not the ones from the kit :D
The ones from the kit don't give enough of a reduction...2:1 just doesn't cut it ya know

That's not a worm gear, that's a helical gear. Worm gears look like a big screw.
