How do i make gears in inventor? Is ther a plugin for gears?

There is a tool called "Circular Pattern" that lets you create a circular pattern such as the teeth on a gear. Just make one big circle, and do a circular pattern of smaller circles around the outside to cut away the grooves between the teeth. If you want to be extremely detailed, you can chamfer the teeth.
