Well.... yeah. Heh heh.. :D
Their English cd is quite bad.
Get Dvesti Po Vstrechiy. They have some rather nice hooks, just sounds alot better in their native tounge.

With lyrics bordering on child porn and videos to match?
I heard something about this on MTV U HEAR EET FIRST or something like that...

Yeah, they are amazing. A friend and I were cranking some of their stuff while doing burnouts in his WRXy. :) Good driving music if you don't mind speeding tix.

Watched them on Leno... they also "remixed" that song for one of the female wrestlers in the WWE.

Yeah I hafta say i like them but I definately like their russian cd better.
Oh yea, and they have a song called "Robot" that is pretty good:)
Jonathan M.
26-02-2003, 16:04
Well last night on Leno they were great. And I think I would mind speeding tix.. If I had a car. But anyway t.A.T.u. rules. And I'm out.

Yeah their All the things she said song is pretty sweet.. even if the video is " questionably risque " lol...
I wish I more techno remix's from them tho, I've heard one good one so far, but I know they can get a lot better
Jonathan M.
26-02-2003, 16:43
Well actually I like thier stuff all together. I'm not too big on Techno. I like it but I really like thier stuff before remix. My favorite song on this CD has to be 'How soon is now?'
Oh yeah and I like thier videos they can be so deep. Well aside from the fact that they make out through out most of 'All the things she said'. Which isn't bad but I like the music alot. Yeah so anyway....
LATER! I really mean it this time!

Just pulled the video down....
Its amazing. Mixes several elements from
film noir with some ( as already noted ) risky
content. I must add that i think the original Russian has an edge over the english... just sounds more natural.
Might i suggest for you Tatu fans another
female artist called Fragma. Slightly different sound, but also very good. http://www.fragma.de <- free downloadable samples.

Yeah I know and I liked that version as well... But not as much as I like tATu's.
List of current favorite bands
---------------------------------------
The Offspring
t.A.T.u.
Foo Fighters
Green Day
Not going to say 'later' because that would be a lie. BTW my other fav song on that disc has to be Malchick Gay. Its so easy to get stuck in your head. Good beat too.
Cate Dumez

Malchik Gay is one of my favorites. Definately gets stuck in your head. Not Gonna Get Us is a catchy one too. Great songs overall but those are my favs i think. I prefer the russian versions and the remixes over the english ones, though.
good stuff...
Interesting story:
As Eddie mentioned earlier, TATU's song "All the things You Said" is used as a entrance theme for one of the WWE's wrestlers, Victoria. At the WWE's December PPV, me and my friend Zangre went and popped big for Victoria...not because of her, but because, for the first time, she came out to TATU. It was great. No one else knew who it was. Great moment in my life.
I also remember the Artist to Watch thing I saw of them on MTV a couple of years ago. That was cool and I must admit their music is great. I just had my rap license revoked.

I am officially updating my list of my favorite top 4 bands:
Top 4 bands:
--------------------
1) The Offspring, and t.A.T.u.
2) Foo Fighters
3)Green Day
4) Box Car Racer
Yup that's right I have grown to like t.A.T.u. just as much as I love The Offspring, and believe me I love The Offspring. I think that the music is excellent. I have their Russian album and English album and so far I have seen all of their American Television preformances up to date. I only wish I could be in New Jersey this sunday (Mar 1) where they will be signing autographs. But that's okay Maybe oneday. ;) Yeah and I plan on buying a t.A.T.u. t-shirt (2), sweatshirt, and beanie. So my wardrobe will no longer consist of just Offspring t's, Robotics Team t's, etc. But now it will also have t.A.T.u. clothing. Okay I'm ranting again so I'll see you guys later.

So far I've seen them on Jay Leno (where they got cut off just before their famous kiss :ahh: .) On Jimmy Kimle Live where they got to actually kiss, and I'm going to see them Tonight! March 1 on madTV. And again on Monday on TrL. I'm not the biggest fan of MtV but I'll tune in for t.A.T.u. If you want more information on t.A.T.u. Then I sugest going to their websites. I am subscribed to a news letter thats quite helpful, because It sends alot of info on TV apearences, and other stuff. Oh yeah BTW if anyone here lives in New Jersey you'd better reply to this post because t.A.T.u. will be there at FYE (2130 Willowbrook Mall Wayne, NJ 07470) starting at 2 PM to sign autographs! So I need some one to get me one! LoL. :D

Not sure if they are 14 yrs old, but they are russian and female lovers. I don't see how the lyrics talk about child porn, and the video doesn't show anything relating to it.

Woah It's like I never noticed that other post. Let me clear this up. They are 17, and 18. And none of their lyrics talk about child porn in anyway. In my book kissing isn't porn. Maybe to a grand mother, but not me. Besides kissing all they do is hold hands.
But even if they did more then that (Which, they do, in the russian vid, but I wont go there) They are certainly old enough to.

I thought they were around 16, but all well, doesn't matter. I'm not a fan of foreign listening, and I couldn't find the audio for the song from their british site. I'll probably look more though. They have good soothing vocals imho.

You can download songs from their russian album here. And since they (the bad) are releasing them to the public. It's legal.
PS
In an interview, t.A.T.u.'s Lena said:
"People think we are lesbians. We are just in love."
That's just to give you somthing to think about.

I think what Yulia ment was that they are in love with each other and only each other, if they were to end their relationship they may not nesasarily go for other women. However Im also not say that they are bi.
Lover's how ever they are. Perhaps they may not undergo somthings Americans percieve nesesary to be lovers. But they are in love.
Regardless, I think t.A.T.u. is an excellent band. I think both ladies are extremely gorgeous. (Especially Yulia ;) ) And that they should continue to preform music. Whether or not theytruly are lesbians is irrelivant to me.
Go tATu!

Thats not neccisarily true. Bands usually don't own their own recordings, but just the lyrics. I know the Offspring had songs on their website, and their label had a hissy fit.
'If they can download it, noone will buy the cd'
Yeah, right.

Hehehehe They do a song called Robot... hehehehe
It was just added to my playlist for robotics trips. lol
It's kind of addicting too, even though I did only hear the Russian version as of now.

What I dont get about the russian version, is like... most of the lyrics are in Russian yet the background voice is saying "robot" in english?
Can someone explaine this? Do I have a re-mixed version?
