A long time ago, I've seen a piece of gum that was chewed by a famous person and bought for $10,000 on Ebay. It was cased in a box and the gum was grey.

Anyways, what's the most strangest thing you've seen sold online?

a dress (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18597&highlight=dress) is the most recent.

I remember seeing a 1/2 chewed gummy bear. And a PBJ sandwich. the Moon. the founder/head/whatever of FreeBSD (Jordan K. Hubbard). e-bay is a plethora of weird stuff. woo.

Oh wow. Here we go:

An IRC channel (I forget the name of it...but it used to be the biggest chan on DALnet.)
Our local hotel.
Random towns.
A giant Cheeto :)
Souls, bodies, beatings...
Prechewed food (for the teethless)
A bag of pennies
A single penny (of no significance)
Hire someone to quit for you.
A replacement tire valve cover.
The coolest screenshot ever.
Someones porn collection.

There are so many more...

Last week a local DJ and his co-hosts spent the whole time on the morning show bidding on that and they were calling each other names and cussing when the host raised the bid over 100 bucks :p

I'm pretty sure someone tried bidding off a ride in their new nissan. The sale even got a Nissan sponsered add in Motor Trend.

They had a thing about that on Ripley's Believe It or Not. it turns out the guy didn't literally sell his mommy, he just sold out her advice for an hour. Meaning people would have to pay to get to ask her for help and stuff.
Lucky for that guy, 'cuz he gets to keep his mommy and get money for it too!

The strangest thing that I've ever seen sold on ebay has to be this auction here (http://www.diediedie.com/Scumbag/24smallchildren.htm) (courtesy of http://www.diediedie.com ). It looks like it was won by somebody on Long Island...I wonder what he's doing with those kids anyway...

A full body suit that was designed for the sole purpose of rollerblading in almost any position you could think of. It wasn't on ebay.

I just found out today that the 10th ranked Tenor in the world put himself on auction. He sold for $500,000. Basically, he went to live with the family for a month, giving voice lessons and such. Room and board was in addition to the auction...lol.
