Did everyone just see what Dave did at the VCU Regional to explain what a "car" is and how to use one at Krispy Kreme after midnight???

Dave was saying that the local KK was open 24 hours but the only problem was that only the drive through was open after midnight and you needed a car to be served. So since the definition of CAR is so loose than a couple of carboard boxes do the trick.

Nothing less... A plug for Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a problem solving approach to getting them in times of need!!!

Yep.. I can see it now.

Lines of FIRST teams in cardboard cars, all waiting to get their Krispy Kreams after midnight.

And the headline: "Swarms of Box-Covered Students Descend on Local Krispy Kreme Franchise"

I want a copy of that headline. lol. I can see the looks on the employees as they see 5,000 people come for KK donuts after midnight with cardboard boxes on.:yikes:

one of our members actually built a cardboard box car on the way back to Krispy Kreme afterwards. I don't know if he actually went through the drive through... but I didn't see him inside with the rest of the team and he came back with a half-dozen glazed.

Yes, the KK prince was with him during this ordeal of having to walk back to the hotel to buy a box. We then returned in Dave's mustang to smuggly buy a box.

Blue (one of the pit crew on 116) did a wonderful job building the car. The next night she took it to the KK where she (and the following behind her) were promptly refused to be served. Such a shame.

There were actually like 8 offers to buy the car, I don't know what happened to it though.

Rumor is that, after a short period to repair minor wear-and-tear damange, the "KKAR" will be available on E-bay.

that was crazy, but i think the astronauts lil tumble there took the cake. true, its not funny, but still. unless you wanna go back to next year where the girl didnt have a belly button. "i cant find my belly button! where is it!? what?! ive got two? i dont need two!" that was crazy.
