Is anyone else on Charter Cable having trouble getting the NASA Feed. I have been on the phone with Charter all morning. I do think they are out of touch with reality. They have no idea what is going on.

Some one at the Florida Regional snag a NASA Official and tell him to call NASA and Get it turned on PLEASE

Did you Know?

If you are an accredited public or private school you can get a free hookup to DirecTV? AT&T Broadband (Now Comcast) refused to put NASA TV on the public access channel for 3 days, so we called DirecTV and learned about "DirecTV at School". It is like 60 channels including NASA. You would need to buy the equipment full retail (eBay is a good place for the recivers and 2 Satellite Dish) and DirecTV sells the access cards for $20 each. I had a bunch of DirecTV PLUS Receivers (The ones that can accept the signal from 2 satellites) and a 2 Position dish so I donated it and my Dad installed it (He is good at that kind of stuff).

If you have any questions just send me a PM.

Hi,

What is "Pegasus"?

In some rural areas the NRTC (National Rural Telecommuniations Company) holds the rights to sell DirecTV service. Therefore, you have to subscribe to DirecTV that is remarked by Pegasus instead of DirecTV itself. Its just remaked DirecTV.

just so you know, the NRTC does not hold any rights to sell direcTv. Pegasus is a completely different company that holds the rights in most of rural america.

Actually, I started this thread to see if anyone else was having trouble getting the NASA feed on Charter Cable TV. Depending on who I speak with at Charter, determines where the decision was made not to broadcast the Live Feed. I also was
trying to find someone with a little pull with Charter, to try and get the NASA feed broadcast when it is running live. For the last
3 weeks Charter thinks an out of date book review is more important than a LIVE NASA feed.
Thanks

I'm in So. Cal and Charter here has been showing CSPAN-2 instead of NASA TV. The only time they have showed NASA TV in the past 4 months was for FIRST Kickoff. It's really annoying. The channel they use for NASA TV here is shared between NASA TV, CSPAN-2, ARTS, and school district and maybe one other.

Here on the eastcoast, charter has NASA tv as my town TV channel. But they didn't have any comps yet. Maybe they are just showing the Nats?
