View Full Version : Nasa + Soap = ______
The answer coming soon.
What do you think it is? Let your imagination run a little....maybe we'll find a new idea for next year in here somewhere.
(and no its not a scoring equation :p ... anyone still remember this: ax^2 + bx + c)

Smart soap that tells you if you are clean enough?
Smart soap that checks the bacteria count on your skin?
Smart soap that yells at your kids to scrub longer?

With the Help of NASA Soap will be streaming the matches to the internet, but first I need to finalize a few items with Northwestern. We will have more information tomorrow on that.
As for Wi-Fi and internet access I will have more on that tomorrow as well.
I know it should be interesting and fun. See you all there!!!
I'm thinking that's the answer. :)
Do u WASH w/ your SOAP in your NASA provided water STREAM?

No prize though.
Yep, that's it. But the other answers were a lot more fun to read. Kudos for finding the other post.
Basically the answer is: http://nasa.sigmacat.com. Yeah, it's a redirect but the point is made. The great folks at NASA/KSC are providing the Servers, SOAP is providing the encoders.
If this weekend is successful, we expect it to be, then perhaps SOAP will be doing the same for Nationals. This all comes as a result from learning that Nationals are on critical path for not being streamed (the finals will, but maybe not all the Quals, and not all stages)
Hey teams, streaming is not hard. If you already have a laptop w/ USB and, say, 800MHz and 256 RAM, then the additonal hardware is < $150. Wouldn't it be great to train enough of you teams to stream your event so that 100% regionals have a webcast???!!! Stop by the booth sometime and ask for a run-through of the setup.
