At the Nationals, I heard almost no Metallica.

This is a threat to FIRST's existence as an organization. I encourage all of you to petition FIRST for more Metallica at FIRST events.

We can all overcome this disturbing lack of Metallica together.

i guess hearing almost no metallica is better then hearing no metallica at all......

metallica has never really been one of my fav groups but i like some of their songs.... it really doesnt bother me that metallica wasnt played that often...

I believe generally the music at FIRST events is a minor issue, but I think it still can be discussed. I mean everything else is discussed on this forum.

I've been saying more Metallica for as long as I've been in FIRST, but nothing has changed.

Metallica is the best band ever. EVER. NO DISCUSSION.

Heh. Is Sandstorm the official song of FIRST? I heard it played countless times! They play all the awful crap during the breaks then play the good music when there are interruptions. I don't think the DJ made it through a full AC/DC song without a cut-in. Seriously...get that Baha Man crap out of there...some Queen would have been nice to hear. And was it just me or does Madonna have lots of over-played awful songs? *sigh* Bah duh dum dum dum...another one bites the dust!

80s music... Queen...

If you were on a bus with my team, you prolly heard brickhouse and play that funky music sometime during nats. We kept asking for funk music at SVR too. :D

Erg. All techno music? *shudder* Synthesized music is nasty. As much as I love computers, nothing beats a real electric guitar and a strong beat.

Techno music is awful. That's all they played at east michigan. It was horrible.

I personally didn't mind the music they played...just wish there was a greater variety... I kept hearing the same songs over and over..and even though they were good..it still got annoying.
I would have liked to have heard a nice mix of heavy metal, techno, and 80's and whatever else...in an evenly distributed manner. oh well.
