A short and easy one for anybody still awake at quarter after 2 (getting it done early today): For 100 points, this French term is used when a direct hit is scored in fencing. It is also used after an intellegent remark that catches a person off-guard.

For the record, my laptop doesn't have a keypad so I can't do accents.

You guys have to be difficult. For the future, I generally won't kill for misspelling or no accents unless it changes the answer completely. So 100 points to Kristina.
