Well actually.... I live on Long Island. By the time we would get there if we started on Saturday it would all ready be over. My parents would go to hell and back again for robotics. It is quite odd. Btw does this mean that they are changing the kit again??:confused: I really see no purpose to getting rid of surplus items unless you are not going to use it again.

I figured out the space time continum and managed to get their yesterday....HA!!!...maybe thats why there was noone their??? now to camp at first hq for 2+ months!! I got the tent! :p

I am highly miffed at this! Always during River Rage, so I can never get there because of my announcing duties!!! Anyone want to be a ghost runner for me and pick up some motors? There might just be a nifty Gael Force T-shirt in it for ya!

Hehehehe!! I am actually heading up to NH this weekend and see that my route takes me very close to FIRST HQ!! The ad for the tag sale doesn't say anyhing about "no early birds"!!

I know it's wishful thinking, but it'd be great if I could get my hands on an OI + RC, since they're apparently being completely redesigned for next year.

i doubt IFI would give away the extras if FIRST had any, and who says they are changing the OI, last time they did it was from a hefty white colored boxy one (i think it was white) that was s memory serves me right Nextel... i just don't think they would be giving away the OI's even if they were redesigning them.

IFI would probably take back their inventory and resell them to BATTLEBOTS. alot of builders have "jumped on the band wagon" and are using IFI due to the # of channels it has for sc's and relays. plus, its cake to write code for IFI, although i dont know how to write code...but anyway, BB/Team Delta ususally buys most of the left over inventory, and resells them to builders.

According to that thread, we're getting "new" ones. I doubt it'll be as drastic as going from the big white boxes to the IFI, but it should be a good enough change to cause some work for some teams.

wow thats news to me, thanks for clarifying that with me... Hm this is going to be interesting. Also this is to those who have been there before, what typically does first give out, the past years left over parts and junked things?
