Does anyone know where I could get polycarbonate sheets? I'm guessing Home Dopot might have them but I'm not sure. I'm thinking of mounting the electronics on it, would this be a good idea, or should I go with something else?

Look at your local window repair store. A lot of car detailing places have similar things. Just watch out and make sure you get the real thing. Not all of the things some people call the same thing really are.

If you need to order it from lack of local supply:

I LOVE McMaster. They are the best online catalog folks I know.

I can order at 5:30pm and have almost anything I order on my dock at 9:30 the next morning -- using standard UPS shipping.

It is awesome.

You may want to look into getting polycarb sheet from them.

P.S. It helps that Delphi has an account with UPS that makes shipping a LOT cheaper. If I had to pay $25-50 every time I had a shipment sent, I may think about things a little different. As it is the shipping costs are not even a factor for most orders I make.

We got lucky in that we found a polycarbonate dealer who donates it to us. They even cut it to size :)

Many schools use lexan to replace broken glass windows.
