so now that school has started back up .....

When and where are Your first team meetings going to be?

Our first meeting for the 2004 season was at the hotel the last night of Nationals ;) :yikes: :rolleyes:

We will proably give the kids the first week of school off but call in all the veterans probably on the next week to go over plans for the year and how last year went for a while then hopefully by the following week announce it to all of the Freshman and go over other things with them the basics kinda things such as where alll the tools are like that

On the 9th, we have a rookie meeting where we give the rookies everything the veterans have heard before. Vets are welcome to attend, but the meeting is mostly for the rookies. Then on the 16th (my birthday!!) we have our first real team meeting. They couldn't have picked a better day to have that meeting! ;)

Our first meeting is on the 7th of September in our school's auto shop. Half of it belongs to us. Well, actually..we kind of took half of it. LOL. :D

Our first "official" meeting of the schoolyear is our first wednesday back, September 10th, though I'm sure most members will be talking robotics every breathing second in the hallway..or in class. :rolleyes:

Our first meeting with the whole team (including the new freshmen) is next wednesday (2nd day of school).

Although the team members that are staying with the team (and myself) have been meeting a few times over the summer (fundraising events mosty) and discussing/ planning for this year.

but if you want to get really techinical, our first meeting for 2004 was last december. After we found that we were inative for 2003, all the meetings were techincally gearing up and preparing/ training for this year, when we would get another chance to get back into FIRST.
