Time is running out if you still need to register for River Rage 7, the longest running post season FIRST Competition. Seventeen teams have already signed up.
Saturday, Sept 6, 20 teams will hit the stacks one more time at West High School in Manchester NH. (and the shinny walls if your light sensors are aimed wrong in autonomous mode)
Go to http://riverrage.w3.to/ if you want more details and registration information.
Ah yes, 131's robot has had many "makeout" session with the player station walls.

I just wanted to drop in a plug for River Rage. There is alot of history with this competition, it is very well run, and it is alot of fun in the hometown of FIRST! If you are in the area, I highly recommend being part of this competition!
Cya there!

p.s. Who are the teams who have signed up thus far?
I'm pretty sure Team 190 will be there and I myself might be there as well.

HA!! With us, it was more with the carpet and the wooden beam under the railing in the center!!
Oops, the carpet has come undone again!!

What i dont get is why it is always held on the same day as the yard sale, makes it hard for River Rage competitiors to get to the yardsale. Just my .02
I'm gonna go again this year, to watch (still just as good)
Look for me, I'll be wearing a maroon collared shirt that says "Timberlane Robotics" in the upper right corner.
Come introduce yourself if you like, I'm not very fond of going around and introducing myself very much, but I love meeting other FIRSTers.
See you there

I think it's better this way.
Part of your team go right to River Rage in the morn, while others go to the giveaway! (I refuse to call it a yard sale since it's all free!)
Speaking for myself, I know that if it wasn't the same weekend as River Rage I would never get to go to it, unless I was heading up to NH anyways!

Hm, never thought about that. Good point. I hope they sell old year FIRST shirts at River Rage again. Last year i got a replacement 2001 shir (my other one wa destroyed). I still need to find a 2002 shirt.
Wooooo!
Is everyone ready for River Rage?
A bunch of us 229ers are coming down to volunteer, and attend the yardsale. We're all getting really excited!
So yeah...
If you're in the New England area, cmon out for some Robot Fun in the birthplace of FIRST.
Should be one heck of an event!
