We are entering another theme week.

::spins the randmoizer::

Alright, so it was prepared a few weeks ago. We are going with military history. For 100, these were the only two 6-star generals in American history.

Greg Perkins

George Washington, John J Pershing

Who were Omar Bradley, Douglas MacArthur, George Marshall, Henry Arnold, and Dwight Eisenhower?

Sorry, there were 5 of them.

Mike Schroeder

Who was "Little Mike" and Ronald McDonald

I agree with Jeff, and so does the military (via a simple Google search).

There were 5 5-star generals

There were 2 "6-star generals" John J. Pershing and George Washington. Washington was upped to 6 star by a declaration from President Jimmy Carter, and Pershing got his "6th star" by a declaration from congress, although he chose to wear only 4.

Maybe the question was mistyped or maybe not?

Well, as it stands, it says 5-star generals. I listed the 5-star generals.

Proof that I type too fast...

Official ruling (I've done too many this week. Ugh): It was a typo, and I'm going to assume Greg assumed that. Had Jeff answered first, he probably would've been given the points. But Greg answered first, with the answer I wanted in the first place.

Maybe I should use the "preview reply" button a little more...

Oh, come on, Eddie. I spent at least an extra 2 minutes on that because I was trying to answer the question AS POSTED. If you'd asked the question as intended, I knew that offhand, but I spent the extra 2 minutes trying to find ALL the 5-star generals.

So wait, I'm confused.

Is the rule "If Eddie makes a typo, the first person to reply, no matter the question or answer, wins?"

Cory

C'mon Eddie, this is a competition. You have to preview your question before posting it. Whoever answered properly regardless of the typo should get the points. Its not their fault you typed the question wrong. Are we supposed to read your mind?

Well actually, Brandon, the rule is if I make a mistake, I can edit it. I made a mistake, and I edited it. Cory and Jeff bring up good points, but if I'm asking for the only 2, chances are, it has to be a typo. At least in this case. Typos will be treated on a case by case basis from now on. Today, I'm sticking with my ruling. Besides, it's only 100 points.
