When you type in the combination of say something like

Alt-1-6-8

You are supposed to get something that looks like an upside down question mark.

When you type it into this message box, it looks right but when you "Submit" the post or reply it comes out looking like this: ¿

Why do the forums not work with the typical Alt codes??
Is there seperate code to achieve the same thing in this forum??

edit: Oh, now it works??? What the heck??

Let me try some more

φ Ü Ä

edit 2: ooh, interesting Alt 237 (the first icon) looks right, but is now converted to & #996; (without a space) in the message box...

edit 3: ...................

Sorry for babbling here brandon.... LOL
I'll leave now!! Good bye!!

The & #996; (w/o space) is that symbol in "valid" HTML. If you goto a few sites that teach HTML special characters, you'll see what I mean.
