I just heard, that Dean Kamen's Manchester house will be featured on MTV's "Cribs" show.

Does anyone know anything more about this??

this sounds vaguely similar to the rumor that FIRST would be featured on 'The Simpsons'....

However cool that would be, I thought it was music stars, movie stars, and athletes that were on that show.

Dean doesn't exactly fit those requirements.

From what I hear though, he has a cool house, so I'm not about to completely rule it out, but yeah, it's not very plausible :p.

John, John, John... I want to believe you, but after the Simpsons thing, I'm a little suspicious. It would be cool, but somehow I get the feeling John may be prevaricating, yet again.

Just my way of getting people talking about something.

I suppose I could have phrased it "wouldn't it be cool if Deano's house was on Cribs?" but I think this is a little more fun.

Makes people think. ;) :D

All in good fun.
Yes of course... this is just another untrue, "I wish" rumor.

At least this one didn't take three pages of posts to be disproven... :)

Not a Neunism,

Although, maybe it would be best if I stopped. :(

I have to agree with those who say that this sounds like the rumor about the simpsons, the more I think about it the more I think that broadcast FIRST is going to stay as webcasts, at least for a long time, but none the less I would love to see this come true.

Of course you should agree... JVN admitted so in the posts 1 and 4 above yours.

John,

You are a dork.

(But yes, it would be awesome.)

p.s. What if Dumpling Island went on TV? :)

His house was featured on sixty minutes a short time ago....MTV cribs though....seems unlikely.

Isn't there some Extreme House show on the Travel Channel, Discovery, TLC, or HGTV or something like that? Could it be on one of those shows?

To believe John ever again or not believe John ever again, that is the question

*watches John cry wolf* ;)

JVN: Amanda, you gotta help me! I know you guys have an extra drill motor and we just broke our last one!

AM: *chuckles* Right! Just like FIRST on the Simpsons, right?

JVN: I'm serious! We're going up against 71 and won't be able to compete without it!

AM: Ah John, you always were a funny guy!

:D :D :D

Nah...
The loss of one motor won't significantly affect our drivetrain next year ... heh, heh, heh.

I have faith that SOME team in FIRST would be gracious enough to donate us a drill motor. (Plus, we always make good bribes). ;)

If you bring enough cases of dew, and boxes of Krispy Kremes to competition, you can get pretty much whatever you want from this crowd.

I believe it's called pop, John.

But hey, I'll forgive you. You're a Yankees fan (blech). :p
