Well if by competition you mean kids who are as talented as that, I would say yes.

If you want to gauge your talents by others then I suggest you get a copy of the 3Ds Entries from last year or the year before (they come on a DVD).

your work looks excellent....

but if you'd take some minor criticism ill give it to you, otherwise just stop reading. this is not meant to be taken personally, but i'd say this piece is about 97% completed.

in some of the pics the specularity is way up! As a result when you take a picture of the model from close up, it looks fine, but when viewed from far away, it is distorted and 'grainy' i'd try knocking that down (look at the wheels if u dont know what im talking about). and maybe tone the reflection maps down about 5-10% and it would look hyper-realistic. the modeling is perfect, dont change anything with that, but just go over your materials with a fine tooth comb. it looks awesome, keep up the good work.

thanks for the comments... i'll try2 fix that soon... it's kind of "ultra shiny" ... not like real life..
