crates at regionals

whoa!

Do I understand the rule correctly? FIRST is not allowing crates in the PIT AREA.

Instead, the crates will be left in another area, to save room in the pit. What if your crate is a fold-out workshop :( (like ours)

Is this only at the nationals, or is it for regionals too?

Logistics just got more complicated...

My understanding is that as long as you have it "in" your pit area, than you can keep it here. They probably made this rule because they don't want big box crates standing in the walking area. As long as it not an annoyance or a safety hazard, it should be safe to keep it there.
