Thanks to the TechnoKats and everyone who presented and made the Indiana FIRST day at Kokomo a great success. Great learning sessions, lots of casual discussion time, and Segways all over with owners that were letting anyone who wanted to take a ride.

I completely agree... Thank you to everyone who make this possible, year after year. It's a great experience and invaluable to FIRST rookies.
...plus, we all got to witness firsthand that I, Amanda Morrison, am Segway incompatible.

Yes that's very true... :p
But at least you didnt let the segway run away into a wall by itself...
From the time I was there, I think my highlight was sitting in on the forum on overall robot design by Andy Baker & Bill Beatty...wow that was really impressive being able to listen to those 2 talk together

I also would love to thank everyone that made the Kokomo trip possible. It was very informative (especially the C programming class).
GREAT JOB!!!

Talk about missing out! The bad part about moving off to BU for college is that I miss out on all this great Indiana FIRST stuff.
Amanda....you must explain how you're incompatible :) Do you have an odd center of gravity or something? Curious...

Yes...I too am curious how you could be incompatible. Explain!!
And DJ...only you could do that...you're not going anywhere near our bot this year <evil grin>
Did anyone get to read the letter I wrote for the driving workshop??? Good, bad, indifferent??

It was proven, that even with the technology of the Segway, my... uh.. rear end is a little too big. So I can't balance, I just move forward or backward.

It was also really awesome for Andy Baker to have Ken Berry to come to speak during the opening notes at the workshops. I really enjoyed listening to him speak. IndianaFIRST workshop (discussion) was sweet too. :D
