Finale is this Sunday. I got 5:2 odds on Lil, 3:1 on Darrah and Sandra, and 5:1 on John. Who do you think will win?

Darrah will win.
It'll get down to the three girls, and Darrah will probably win immunity and get rid of Lill because she'd win in the final tribal council. As far as I can tell, no one has much of a beef with Darrah, so she'd probably be chosen over Sandra to win.
I think Jon deserves it most, though. He played this game right. That grandmother thing? I thought it was brilliant. But I'm pretty sure he's done for.

I get it. The moral of the story: awareness
anyway about survivor:
Who cares? Its a dumb show anyway.
The ideal strategy for darrah, assuming she can hold out past next weeks tribal council, would be to take John with her. If he goes next week, she would want to take Sandra with her. Either way, everyone hates 'Mr Johnny Fairplay" and I dont think they like Sandra much better.

i think that darrah will win .. but i dont know who she will take to the final two if she does get to decide that ...
i agree .. jon does deserve it most .. he has played the game extremely brilliantly, and has had the upper hand for a while (especially once rupert was kicked off ) ...
i definitely do not want lil to win .. i do not think she deserved it, and i didnt think it was a smart idea for the outkast tribe to vote her back in to the game ... she hasnt played it will imo and even though she does things (like getting firewood and all) she has been used a lot and is easily influenced and can be read like a book .. like in last nights episode, jon (or burton ??) guessed that they were going to be voting burton off if darrah won immunity because of the way lil was acting .. it was only because of their egos that they didnt believe it ...
just my thoughts ...

I'd say sandra just cuz now she sees that she can fight back.
Jon did play really smart but i don't want him to win because he's such a sleeze.
and Lil, ha the uber useless
but i'd be content w/ Darrah to win 2

I am so glad Lill didn't win.
I still would have loved to see Jon take the million through some awesome turn of events, but as long as it's not Lill, I'm happy.
So who's excited for Survivor All-Stars? They're bringing back RUDY. I am so pumped.

I still can't believe Lil didn't take Jon with her. I kept telling my mom that it was essentially suicide, and as it turns out, I was right.
BTW, does anybody have a list of the Survivor All Stars?

Nice. Richard, Tina, Ethan, Jenna, and possibly Sandra are defending. I'm also glad to see Rudy, the Amber & Jerri duo, Tom, Rob C., and Rupert playing again. Of course, we gotta remember that most of these are "speculated players". But still...
Rupert is hands down the greatest survivor contestant ever. From the time they jumped ship till the time he was booted out, he carried the entire tribe.

First off I'll say that I really didn't watch any Survivor this time (I only really watched some of the first one because I thought it was a cool idea). It's weird hearing how this Rupert guy was so popular with the people that watched Survivor, especially since he's from Indiana (Indianapolis). I also heard that he grew up in Kokomo, Indiana (the town I live in, 45 is there, and 292 is kinda from there).
Ok, enough for the late night rambling...

I don't watch the show, but I read the news, and wasn't there before this season started something about a bunch of people, from the same city, placing bets (online) on sandra, so they closed the betting? I think the city was somewhere on the west coast.

<edit> yup there was. There was a follow up on cnn this morning. </edit>

i dunno bout the betting but i do agree w/ above
rupert could literally survive by himself if need be.
what i think would be interesting for survivor is to have one in a cold climate, such as alaska. Deff be a change in climate...

There is no doubt in my mind that had he been in the final two, jon would have won the million. He was by far my favorite player from the begining.
As for the cold climate thing: I doubt it will ever happen -the ratings would definately go down. Some people watch the show just for the tube-top buffs and 'barely there' bathing suits.
I would have to disagree with that. Yes, Jon did play the game the best, the way it was meant to be played. However, the Jury doesnt vote for the winner based on that. They vote based on who didnt piss them off, or who pissed them off the least. I guarentee that Jon would not have won the million dollars. Everyone thought he was a jerk and I doubt they would have voted for him.

i think that jon from the last season will be playing in the all-star survivor... i know that his name is not on the website from an above post, but he mentioned it at the reunion .. he said something like "who knows .. maybe on survivor all-star my granddad will die " ... and i think that that shows hell be on it ... and plus, him and rob c's characters are so much alike taht there is sure to be a load of controversy and "excitement" there ...
and if the list on the website is right .. then i like that kathy has another shot because i thought she deserved to win survivor 4 ... she played the best physically and mentally .. and she wasnt a big liar , deceiver, and manipulator (like jon or rob c) ...
but overall .. if the choices on this site are rite .. i am happy with them ...

I think he would have won against Lill, but not against Sandra. A lot of ex-Morgan members were still bitter towards Lill for being able to come back into the game after being voted out. Jon would have been really good at answering the questions from the jury (Lill was terrible doing that), and may have been able to sway enough votes his way.
Sure, Lill was nice and people liked her, but I'm pretty sure a lot of the jury realizes she was riding coattails the whole way. I really think Jon would have won, if only by a 4-3 vote.

No. He's not.
As much as I love the guy, he was very bitter and childish about the whole thing. He seemed to think people owed him something. Remember his exit speech? It went something like... "My dreams have been crushed." And when he was asking his questions to Sandra and Lill, he was so bitter. It was just ridiculous.
Rupert was awesome to watch and I'm really excited to see him play in All Stars, but the guy needs to stop assuming so much.
