Hey all!

Our webmaster isn't a member of the forums yet, so he asked me to post a link here and ask for comments and suggestions:

Home of the Mech Techs (http://mechtechs.t35.com)

Please excuse the popups/unders, we needed free hosting.

Be sure to check out the quoteboard, team directory, and webcomics... those are definitely my favorites, lol.

I find it difficult to give advice about coding practices because everyone does things differently and has different ideas of what's good, but I'll tell you what I think of the design. First of all, the new window without toolbars is unneccesary, especially without a splash screen (though I'd rather just go to the content without going through any clicks). Especially with a vague menu system such as that, the ability to use a back button might be helpful. But I can understand why it's not there. Strangely though, I am told I need 1024 x 768 resolution. With a few very small alterations to the window size, you could make it work in 800 x 600. Also, might I suggest you test the code in all browsers? Opera and Mozilla render it differently from IE, which clearly renders it as you want it to be. I do like the way the content is heading... more to come right?

Well, I have to agree with jonathan on several points: first, the splash screen is somewhat irritating, as well as being rather dull...
Second, the navigation system is somewhat tedious to use. It is not always obvious which ball links to which page.
Lastly, she renders incorrectly in Mozilla (1.7a).
