A parent from our team (we are a rookie team) just happened to attend the nationals last year in Houston. He mentioned seeing a distributor at the event that had components for sale particularly tracks for drive systems.

Unfortunately, that's all the information that I have.

Does anyone who attended Houston happen to recall this distributor?

I would be interested in other distributors of tracks as well, but for the sanity of our parent who is racking their brain, it would be particularly helpful if someone knows the specific distributor that might have been in Houston.

Thanks in advance!

Brecoflex (http://www.brecoflex.com/) is a supplier of FIRST and popular among teams. While I don't recall if they had a booth in Houston, they're a good resource.

The TechnoKats also have another source they used for their belting and pulleys in 2003. I can't recall the name of that company, so maybe a 'Kat can chime in and help out.

if you are going to get something from brecoflex get it early and get a lot....last year we found it was backordered for around 2 months...

We used a belts and delrin pulleys from a company called
FN Sheppard (http://www.fnsheppard.com/).

We used ALOT of materials from them last year, and sent alot of FIRST business their way. Heck, they should've sponsored us!

The best thing about their stuff was the Delrin pulley stock... we made light pulleys from their stock.
