Could someone perhaps set up a torrent for the manuals so we can save FIRST a lot of bandwidth? Both encrypted and unencrypted will probably help. (Yes, I know they're not out yet - I mean when they are)

I don't mind putting it on Kazaa, cause that's just drag dump.

I don't mind putting it on Kazaa, cause that's just drag dump. The chances of being able to find it on Kazaa would be very slim. When I get back to school on Saturday I'll try to get a copy on my website, it should be able to hold some traffic.

I'm wondering if FIRST is planning on having the manual available on some mirror sites?

Yeah.. that's a 800mhz, 128mb ram, Red Hat dedicated server sitting at VO (The same host that hosts CD) (read: Really good net connection)
The server isn't serving much else right now.. so it would take a lot of people to bring it down.
Yeah.. I know it doesn't have a pretty page or anything.. but hey.. you want the files, right? ;)
Also, I'll try to put a copy of the kickoff vid up there when it becomes avaiable.

PS: Are the encripted files going to be released on the normal http://www.usfirst.org/robotics/doc_updt.htm or where??

The file sizes aren't large enough to be be worth using a torrent.

Word.
Mirrors (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=23470) should be enough.
