Lunar Colony and more?

Yahoo! News (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040109/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_space&cid=544&ncid=716) is reporting that there are plans to announce a program to send humans to Mars and to establish a permanent colony on the moon in the next week.

M. The way you worded what you wrote caught me off guard the first time I read it i.e.

"and to establish a permanent colony on the moon in the next week."

In our local newspaper last week they had this full page about the Mars project and the history of Mars Exploration. They had a short Q&A part and one question was "When does NASA plan on sending humans to Mars?" the response was that a date was roughly set for sometime shortly after the year 2020..

Technically, thats a misplaced modifier.

But then again, since when do any of us care about that whole English thing?
