There's actually three regionals in California. The Silicon Valley Regional, The Sacramento Regional, and The Southern California (boo!) Regional. There are quite a few people on here from the West Coast.

Team 330 is from Hermosa Beach (LA area) and we are going to the Southern California regional and the Arizona Regional. :) You can't get much more west then us or you would end up in the ocean.

The San Jose regional event is the Silicon Valley Regional.

I'm from San Jose, along with my brother, Bill Gold. There are many CD members from CA and the West Coast, from Vancouver to San Diego, I believe.

Just for reference, Ken Leung, one of the most well-known personalities on CD, is from CA. Jason Morrella, Regional Director for FIRST, has also been known to post on these forums.

I moved to California (Seal Beach) about three and a half weeks ago. I'll be here for another 6 months or so. Of course, I'm much better known (er, at least I'd like to think someone here knows me ;) ) for doing FIRST on the East Coast.
