Drill motor in a Dual Motor gear box

Guys my team and I are considering a dual motor gear box. Which motor should we use in connection with our Atwood motor. We're thinking about meshing the Atwood with either the Drill or the Globe. However we know that teams had trouble wit the drills last year. Please any words of advice.

Typically teams do not use the Globe motor in drive, if you looks at the specs it really isn't suited to be a drive motor. Most cases teams use CIM/Bosch/FP for drive. Search around there are many threads on this.

I would go with the drill, however if you think that this is over kill and your drill is better spent doing something else, use the fisherprice motor.

The whole purpose for combining motors is to gain a higher output power.

Let's compare motor power specs for a second:
Bosch Drill Motor - 455W Peak Power
Chiaphua Motor - 321W Peak Power
FP - 140W Peak Power
Globe (no gearbox) - 63W Peak Power

So by combining the Chips and the Globes:
321W + 63W = 384W

Note, this is LESS peak power than the Drill motor has alone.

So... it is somewhat silly to use this combo, when the Drill motor by itself is better.
