I found this useful, so you all may think the same.
There is a nice site at Bimba that will let you download CAD files for their rotary actuator and cylinders.
Here (http://www.bimba.com/cad/cad.htm) is the link. The cylinders are under "non-repairable stainless steel cylinders" and the rotary actuator is under "pneu-turn rotary actuator".
Enjoy!

Were you able to download anything? I put in a part number (178-DP for the 1-1/2 inch bore 8 inch stroke cylinder) and it doesn't recognize it for native ProE (which would be great for me). I tried a couple other part numbers and no luck - they do work on other parts of the website such as searching for cost so it looks like the part numbers are good.

I used it for the rotary actuator (PT-017090-M), and it worked really well. I downloaded a stp file, but it seemed like they had every type of file imaginable.

I was using Bimba's CAD models just a few days ago. Very nice :)
Gary: You could always just download the IGES format.

Except I lose the parametrics when I go to IGES. If I could import it in ProE I could setup a parameter and the stroke position would change based on the position of the end points (or vice versa). I have a cylinder in there now with that feature, but it would be nice to have the other stuff located correctly such as ports
I'll check the other formats -step and IGES usually come in pretty clean but not parametric.
