how do you make the size of a circle 12 inches??

Draw the circle in sketch mode, hit general dimension (D Key) then click the edge of the circle and move the mouse inward. A Dimension should appear going from edge to edge across the middle of the circle. Click anywhere inside it and it should bring up a little window. Just type "12 in" in and hit enter.

how do you make the size of a circle 12 inches?? I heard 12 inches. You aren't trying to make the kit wheel are you? Because it's already drawn up on www.firstcadlibrary.com

no im making it 12 so we can have it balanced with those 12" kit part wheels

If you already have the wheel drwan and are trying to change the actual dimensions of you just have to click on "Extrusion 1" and select "change dimension"

NEW UPDATE:

i have finished the wheel and had help with part 2 from coffeeism and fluffy blink. coffeeism had shown me the way he had done it but i still couldn't do it. thanks you to for what u have done. and gilberts too thanks for your instructions.
