I was wondering - for teams attending regional events from April 1-3, do you feel left out of the upcoming Halo 2 release? I suggest that teams bring their XBOX systems and get the game at the regional to have one big Halo party :)
Anyone up for getting this to happen? Team 639'll be staying at the same hotel as last year - the one with the water slide. There were quite a few teams there but I forget their #s.
Just make sure you have a source of hubs, cat5, controllers and some way to display it all. If you want a full 16 person game, I strongly suggest using projectors and white sheets or something. It makes the game about 1000 times better having a large screen when it's split 4 ways.
Oh, and get a lable maker. Multiple xboxes and controllers that all look the same leads to mix ups, and lost saves, games, controllers etc.
Of course, you need copys of Halo 2, and you never know for sure about that release date...

If I had a good enough laptop for it, I'd rather play Halo 1 on the PC due to improved graphics, MOUSE & KEYBOARD, and the cool multiplayer additions.

I was going to warn you about that a few days ago, but I noticed that amazon.com has April 18, 2004 listed. This would still be late, but closer. Then I realized that www.ebgames.com (http://www.ebgames.com) had 9-1-2004 listed and I believe that one more. Another thing to keep in mind is delays, chances are it will probably get pushed back once.

We should do this at IRI :) Halo 2 = The Best Game Ever... probably :]

The November date already is the pushed back date--it was supposed to come out in April. Pushing it back further seems unlikely since the number one goal of all software companies is to have games out for the Holiday season (sadly, this usually gets higher priority than debugging, optimizing, new features, etc).
In any case, Halo 2 should be amazing, but for now I guess I'll have to stick with Halo PC. I play online a lot under the name Neptunium, so give me a shout if you ever see me.
