We here at team 1418 are totally adrift in a see of confusion pertaining to the acquisition of certain parts. The parts list listed IRLEDs yet we did not receive any, and we are curious as to how we should go about doing so. Should we contact FIRST, the supplier, someone else? Please help

If you are in a hurry, check out Digikey. They are really good at getting stuff out quick. To get the parts that needed to be in the kit replaced will take longer.

First off, definitely fire off a fax to FIRST telling them you did not receive the parts in your kit. It may take a while, but they should send you replacements. In the mean time, we may have some extras. We are 15 minutes away from you in Herndon. E-mail me off-line and we can arrange a pick up.

Team 647 is in the same boat. We did not receive any IR LEDs nor the IR sensors in the kit. Notified FIRST of the shortages right away. We are now in week four and still no IR parts. Looks like it's back to line following.
