We are attempting to use the Analog Devices ADXRS300 Gyro. The wiring is mostly is already done in the Evaluation Board but we are having trouble knowing what pins to connect to the Analog Input.
In a previous post it seemed that we could hook up the entire evaluation board to the analog input from the controller interface.

Here are the connections for the ADXRS150EB. I don't know if the 300 is the same.
1) Connect +5V to pin 1 (AVCC)
2) Connect signal to pin 2 (RATEOUT)
3) Connect ground to pin 8 (AGND)
4) Connect +5 to pin 13 (PDD)
5) Connect ground to pin 12 (PGND)
The connections in step 4 and 5 can be jumped from the solder points in steps 1 and 3. I used a prototyping board from Radio Shack that fits a 20 pin socket with 3 holes connected to each pin. It fits nicely in one of the smaller plastic project boxes to protect it.
If you look at the gyro board there is one cap missing. Hold it so that the empy space is at the lower right-hand edge. In this orientation, pin 1 is at the lower left-hand edge. The pins are numbered in order counter-clockwise from there. There is a data sheet for the part at analogdevices.com

This is the url to the Analog Devices site. Search on ADXRS300 will take you to the product page. Amazing stuff.
