Dear FIRST Teams:
For the past couple of weeks, Team 96 has been working to make the scouting process easier for all of the teams. All of the emails flying all over the place, the individual notebooks full of information, it all seemed a little too much for us. Of course, it didn't help when we lost one of our clipboards full of information last year.
So, the Team 96 Scouting Database was born.
Available on our website, http://www.team96.org, the database is viewable by everyone. We ask teams to register, and fill out a simple form, and their information will be posted for everyone to see, however any team can view it regardless of whether they register or not. Your team can even link to their page on out site, or place the links wherever you want.
Please check it out at http://www.team96.org/scouting/ and give us your feedback. Like everything on our website, this database program will continue to grow, with more features and options for all of the teams.
We have put a lot of work into this, so please sign up. I think all of the teams should find this a little more organized than the usual mad-dash through the pit areas, or the pre-competition email frenzy.
Good luck with this years competition from Team 96!
