Im just writing this as a reminder to all you programmers out there:
BACK UP YOUR CODE!
There is nothing as bad as your file system getting corrupt, your partition table dying, Windows blowing up on you, or your hard drive getting damaged (trust me - it happens, especialy on laptops).
I have just recovered from a dead partition table, and I was lucky enough, with some help from Winternals ERD Commander (http://www.winternals.com/products/repairandrecovery/erdcommander2002.asp?pid=erd) and BartPE (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/) plus GetDataBack (http://www.runtime.org/) to recover most of the important stuff off my laptop, but I wasent able to get everything.
I'm sure most of you allready do this, but I dont want anyone to have to go through what I did - especialy this close to the deadline.
