Nice. The wheel, skid combination remind me of ours. Those wheels are all pretty small. You must just have the ram it up there. But I don't know. Maybe we should have used smaller wheels.

haha...Your arm must be really strong or your ball must be a little flat.

Good luck

The ball is quite flat. That ball is from 2001, I believe. We've basically been using it as a chair, or for testing, since we dont want to pop our competition ball. The claw is pretty strong though. It can open to 50" to herd balls, and close to ~12" to grab a 10 pt ball. we dont think there isany chance of us grabbing a large ball so hard it pops, but we will see.

Are you guys still 30 lbs overweight? Your robot looks excellent overall. What's your tranny like this year?

That arm looks a little similar to the arm on our robot.

Paul: Im not sure what resemblance you see. Ours is a four bar linkage while yours is articulated.

Matt: we are no longer 30 lbs overweight. We got it down to around 126.5-127. We had to take off a series of pulleys and v belts that we were using on the front of the bot to pull us onto the platform, as well as a second identical set coming from the back to the middle of the robot to keep us from bottoming, and also help pull us up, which would have been nice once we got onto the HDPE.

[edit] our transmission, as it stands now, is a single speed 4 motor drive using the Chippy's and the drills. We bought off the shelf gearboxes and modified them to suit our use.
