Congratulations to Team 714 from Technology High School in Newark, NJ for winning the NJ Regional Chairman's Award. This is quite a feat among a very veteran field with so many teams who exemplify the true spirit of FIRST each year!

we team 847 won at Portland... now we get to go to nationals for the first time.... we are only a three year old team, so we don't really expect to be competitive at nationals...

Don't be so quick to write yourself off. You may even surprise yourself. FIRST is about taking advantage of the opportunities that come your way. Make the most of yours.

Doh....that's why it's not a good idea to post at 1:30 AM. :o

I wish FIRST would post the winner's entries so we can see what teams are up to across the country (and beyone!). Thanks to Team 811, the only regional winner I could find so far, who has posted their entry on their website. Three of the teams don't even have websites. :(

Hartford (UTC) We won!! The Techno Ticks did! It was quite an amazing moment... i don't think i've ever felt so nervous and doubtful in my life! :ahh:
Baxter Bomb Squad (16) won at Chesapeake. .....won the competition too!!
TEAM 871 at the SBPLI Regional!
It was pretty amazing... We were all praying that it was us, but mainly I was hoping we got it because of all teh hard effort that the team put in to get to where we are in three short years and this year to submit the chairman's award itself.
Asim Chaudhry, Joe Capo and Denise Stephenson were the three students who put in the most effort and presented the award. They are the heart of this years team and truly deserved it.
Team 1002 (The Circuit Runners) won in Peachtree. We also ended up winning the regional!
Peachtree Regional Chairman's Award and Champion
was team 1002
We are shock! :]

A huge congratulation to Team 481 De Anza High School for winning the Sacramento Regional Chairmans Award! It is another huge accomplishment on top of their engineering inspiration award at the same regional from last year!
Very well deserved!

We won SoCal. I will not be sleeping tonight. Instead, I shall be staring at the medal.

Colorado Regional Chariman's Award winner: team 79!
Congrats to them, they did awesome.
As a sidenote, their introduction and our introduction (Engr Inspiration award) sounded very similar for a short while, having a local lego league tourney and stuff like running summer workshops.

*groan* I suspect I won't be sleeping either. My head's swimming with stories, wonderful memories, and plans for nationals.
We couldn't have done it without you, George. You are incredible.
(*note* the chairman's award judges' words were "spectacular" about our website - thanks to George - among his MANY talents and contributions)

I'm curious about how many of this year's winners were also past winners- Some names that come to mind are : 16, 234, 236, 330, 341, are there any others to add so far?
1108 won chairman's in Houston..
Being only a second year team we are all pretty excited.
I would put our submission online but I don't have it anymore...Long story. (I set-up a display for K-State Open House this weekend and had one copy of our chairman's award submission up in the front with some other FIRST materials. Apparently I laid it too close to the tri-fold brochures and someone now has pages of our submission)
On a side note using the edubot worked great for this thing. The little kids all loved to drive the robot. (Even though everybody thought it was a fighting bot...the university has a combat robot club that was running a small (antweight) competition acrossed from me.

Sorry, I completely missed you guys. I updated my post above.
I posted the final page of our submission.
http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/papers.php?action=single&paperid=320
It gives a good look as to the style and theme of our submission..black and gold..team/school colors, and a Dr. Seuss themed poem. Read earlier statement to see why only one page was posted at this time. I will post the rest of the chairman's award and information about a program we started this year at LSR and hope to continue at Nationals as soon as I can get the rest of the chairman's and more information about the program sent to me.

Thanks for taking the time and energy to followup on this and post this important information! Sharing this information helps everyone.
I received a thoughtful letter today from Bob Hammond in response to a letter I had sent him. He addressed all my questions and included this re: my request to have FIRST post the winning regional entries.
"FIRST needs to make the submissions of the winning teams readily available so others can gain an understanding of their accomplishments. Some of our staff are taking time off this week recovering from the rigors of the season, but I will try to get these submissions on our website in the next few weeks."
I'm delighted and looking forward to learning all about what these 26 fantastic teams have done. Thanks to Bob Hammond for listening. :)
