Yes, yes, a little pick-me-up from the lovely people at FIRST & Segway on shipping day...

Seems to be that Dean has put up 3 "FIRST edition" Segways for auction on Amazon.com that will be given out at Nationals.

All proceeds go to (where else?) FIRST, and all three are already in the $13,000-$15,000 range.

I'm impressed.

As of this morning the bids are 40,000, 44,000 and 50,000. That is a bit much on my salary. For that much I'd rather have a Hummer. :-)
