Team 45 recently published much information on their TechnoKats website (www.technokats.org).

We have the official IRI results and IRI rule changes posted here:
IRI Results and Game Changes (http://www.technokats.org/iri.html)

Here is a bunch of stuff, from team member tests to the auto-balancing code to game strategy worksheets, posted here:
Game and robot tests, strategy stuff, gyro code, etc. (http://www.technokats.org/robot.html)

Also, I've uploaded these and other documents on my homepage within SharingFIRST, at:
Andy B.'s SharingFIRST homepage (http://sharingfirst.mit.edu/users/Andy B./)

Also... there will be a new white paper in the ChiefDelphi White Paper section in a few days.

Enjoy!

I've posted the "Dual Motor Gear Switching Assy" paper on the sharingFIRST site linked above and here:
Andy's SharingFIRST homepage (http://sharingfirst.mit.edu/homepage/index?filesystem_node=1778)

Look under "Mechanical Design" for the paper. I've also sent it to the folks here at Chief so they can put it in the White Papers section.

This drawings on this document are hard to read on your computer screen... you should probably print out the file in order to see the drawings.

It certanly is. I don't want to steal everything from you Andy, but there is a lot of useful info there. Don't be surprised if you see another TechnoKat drive sysem on Cyber Blue's bot next year.

By all means, that's why it's there.

Don't keep it to yourself, pass it on.

As for the design... it's not perfect. Keep in mind that these prints were made in haste and there may be some mistakes in them. I didn't have time to make them perfect in January, and I didn't have time to pick up all of the errors to make them perfect before they were released. I caught most of the mistakes, but there may still be some in there.

If you make these parts to print, you will have yourself a nice power-plant to drive your robot... but you may have to do some tweaking to make it work as you wish.

Nothing is ever perfect. Tweakige is always necessary.

I wanted to say tweakage, I've been having a big problem with adding "age, ige, ege" (not sure which) to the end of words. I like postingage!

Here is Andy Baker's site (http://sharingfirst.mit.edu/users/Andy%20B./) Is that the link you're looking for? If you click on Mechanical design, that should be what you want... Or you can go to the White Papers (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/papers/) section of this site, there is good stuff in there too.
