Sorry if there was some other forum this should have gone in, but I couldn't find it.
This is probably a stupid question, but what do we do with the extra parts list for costs of extra labor, parts and such? I'm assuming we give it to the judges at the robot inspection, but I'd rather not have to find out at the regional.
Thanks.

you do give it to the person that is inspecting your robot. make sure to have everything you used on it and a total price

bring it with you and present it to the inspector - they esp want to see the total cost of extra parts, the most expensive part
the total cost of electronics and the most expensive electronic part.

I asked teams to present their additional parts lists (with costs) during inspection on Thursday. I kept the parts lists and stapled them to the inspection checklists.
Lead robot inspectors at other events will probably ask for the parts lists during inspection. I'll find out during the inspectors web conference tonight and post what they tell me.

Thanks, I'm glad I got this out of the way. One less thing to worry about....

The regional lead inspectors, participating in a teleconference earlier this evening, confirmed that they will be requiring teams to present lists that show the itemized costs of additional materials used on their robots. Some inspectors plan to require teams to furnish a copy of the materials list and others will just ask to see it.
